Cliff Hall joined the Shadows for their 1978 tour after having worked frequently with Brian Bennett including six years recording and touring the World backing Cliff Richard.

He remained with the Shadows until their final tour in 1990 during which time, his stature among fans grew considerably.

The influence of his piano work on the later albums, his production of several tracks as well as his participation in the group's stage banter have won him a permanent place in the hearts of the fans both for his musicianship and his personality.

1983 saw Cliff record a solo album of his piano arrangements of Shadows hits. Produced by Brian Bennett, the album features:
